Description
This lesson continues your work with the first palm of Baguazhang — Xia Chen Zhang — following the same structured, accelerated learning method introduced in the previous session.
Here you’ll deepen your understanding of the palm’s shaping principles through additional exercises that refine trajectory, structure, and body alignment. The movements become slightly more complex, helping your body adapt to the physical mechanics of the first palm while still remaining accessible for the Novice level.
This training builds directly on the foundation you developed in the Beginner lesson, strengthening coordination and preparing you for the more advanced variations that come next.
As with the entire program, this session combines traditional Baguazhang requirements with modern teaching approaches, allowing you to progress faster without losing the essence of the style.
This lesson is part of the First Palm Set (3 lessons), which itself belongs to the full 24‑lesson program covering all eight palms of Baguazhang. Purchasing complete sets provides significant bundle discounts.
How to train: Repeat each movement with focus and precision. Follow the instructor closely and use a mirror when possible to maintain clean structure. If you need extra rest, simply pause the video and continue when ready.
Move to the Novice Advanced level only when this material feels stable, coordinated, and easy to perform.
Consult your doctor before starting any training program.
