Description
This lesson introduces you to the second palm of Baguazhang — Tuo Tian Zhang. Even if you’re completely new to kung fu, this session is designed to guide you safely and clearly from the very beginning.
You will learn the essential shaping techniques of the second palm, developing the basic trajectories, structure, and coordination that define this part of the style. The movements are simple and accessible, helping your body understand the unique mechanics and intent behind Tuo Tian Zhang.
As with all lessons in our accelerated learning system, the training combines traditional Baguazhang principles with modern teaching methods, allowing you to progress quickly while maintaining the precision and depth of classical practice.
Each palm in Baguazhang is self‑contained and can be studied independently. By training them one by one, your body becomes stronger, more coordinated, and more adaptable — each palm complements the others, gradually building a complete internal skill set.
This lesson is part of the Second Palm Set (3 lessons), which itself belongs to the full 24‑lesson program covering all eight palms of Baguazhang.
How to train: Repeat each movement with patience and attention to detail. Follow the instructor closely and, if possible, use a mirror to maintain clean structure and correct alignment.
Move to the Novice Intermediate level only when these fundamentals feel natural, stable, and easy to perform.
Consult your doctor before starting any training program.
