You start with the lower abs exercises. Next – regular and side plank movements to increase your overall core strength and to work your obliques, movements that move both the legs and the shoulders off the floor. And at the end the exercises that work the obliques and the upper abs.
The structure of this ab workout is simple. You will perform each of the 8 exercises for 50 seconds; rest between every exercise is 10 seconds.
After the third and sixth exercises you will get an additional amount of time to rest.
If you need more additional time to rest, you may simply press pause and resume once your muscles have had a chance to briefly recover and you feel you are ready to move on.
But always remember that the goal is ultimately for you to be able to easily perform this 8.5 minutes ab workout. Because only in this case it’s possible to move to the next level.
